BIO:
DJ Keezy is a product of North Minneapolis and has been making waves for 7 years. She is a curator of many dance nights within the Twin Cities, one being the first all women & non-binary line-up dance party to hit First Avenues Mainroom in 2015. She has also shared her passion for music by touring nationally and internationally with hip-hop duo Atmosphere for two years. Where she played at prestigious venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater, The Novo, La Bellevilloise.
Additionally she has opened for established acts such as : De La Soul, DJ Spinderella (SALT-N-PEPA), Big Freedia, Jessie Reyez, Trina and many more. DJ Keezy is also co-founder of Aunties that launched July 2020, a soon to be music venue that centers BIPOC womxn and BIPOC LGBTQIA + people.

THE KLITUATION
The Klituation is a dance party that is held at the historic venue First Ave. The Klituation celebrates women while holding space for QWOC, femmes, queer, trans + genderqueer and gender non-conforming people. Featuring an all women cast in music, fashion design, visual arts and dance. The Klituation showcases the collective creative power of women +. Through this act of representation and resistance, it paves the way for future events created by and for a larger women + queer base in the Minnesota music scene and beyond. We have worked with DJ Spinderella (Salt N Pepa), Coco & Breezy, Junglepussy, Sa-Roc, Dua Saleh and many other talented artists.
